Help our clients with Forensic Data Archiving and Retrieval

Deloitte Forensic is one of the largest forensic advisory practices in Switzerland. We assist clients across a broad spectrum of industries particularly financial services. We provide specialist advice how to make current and legacy systems fully searchable in a flattened data structure, outside the original software layer supporting our clients data archiving and retrieval objectives. Our work frequently involves highly sensitive engagements, which gain regulatory scrutiny and media attention.

Our technology team is currently expanding our Forensic practice and we are seeking talented, highly motivated, and innovative practitioners with strong managerial experience in the area of forensic data archiving and retrieval for structured and unstructured data.

How you can make an impact

• Help our clients with creating a flattened searchable database of their relevant current and legacy systems to deal with Investigations, Regulatory Requirements or as part of Merger & Acquisitions activities.
• Support clients with documenting their current and legacy systems so that their business can continue without either their original software or the operational team that used to help run the business.
• Help with the enhancement of ElasticSearch solution to handle efficiently structured data, improving data retrievability in terms of accessibility, reliability, and accuracy; and find ways to derive more value from our client’s data and lower the amount of effort it takes to get answers

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering schools and other related majors
• You are technically minded, curious with a keen eye for detail and feel motivated by taking on responsibility and ownership
• Programming experience, and at least proficient in one general purpose language (e.g. Python, C#) and one data query language (e.g. T-SQL, Cypher)
• Good knowledge of search engines, like Elastic Search
• Good knowledge of financial services industries, particularly banking is considered a plus
• Good knowledge of operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Unix, MacOS, IBM iSeries, …)
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus especially French or German
