Ready to take the lead on transport operations for a global sports brand?

Aufgabe

Ready to take the lead on transport operations for a global sports brand? Combine supplier management, data-driven negotiation, internal tool settings, and major logistics transition projects (including a warehouse relocation next year) in a high-autonomy role.

At Decathlon Switzerland, our mission is to make sports accessible to everyone across the country! Today, we operate 53 stores with nearly 1,500 team members. As our distribution network rapidly expands, ensuring robust transport operations and high delivery performance is at the absolute heart of our growth.

To support this growth, we are preparing a major warehouse relocation project set for early next year. You are joining a fast-paced environment where supply chain expertise, vendor relations, digital tools, and large-scale transformation projects meet every day!

Context and your environment

At Decathlon, career paths are dynamic! Thomas, who currently holds this role, is stepping into a temporary strategic mission in our Procurement team. That’s why, we are looking for an agile, proactive candidate to step in and take full ownership of his scope for a 1-year contract during this pivotal transformation period.

Your mission : 2 core pillars

This role bridges hands-on vendor coordination and technical system optimization. Your daily mission is built around two key pillars:

Pillar 1: Transport and carrier coordination

Pillar 2: Delivery scenario and system optimization
