Internship – Investor Trust Services (December 2026 to May 2027)
Your Team
You will be part of our Investor Trust Services team within Assurance. Unlike in traditional asset management or investment banking, we don’t manage client assets or make investment decisions. Instead, we support transparency, trust, and regulatory compliance by providing assurance services to asset managers, banks, and other financial institutions. Learn more about our services here.
The focus of your internship will be supporting our Assurance Valuation Desk, which performs independent valuations of financial instruments and provides specialist support to audit teams across PwC Switzerland.
Your Impact
- Support audit engagements for our assurance clients in the valuation of financial instruments and derivatives.
- Contribute, where required, to assurance engagements related to compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) for traditional and alternative asset managers.
- Gain exposure to audit engagements at financial institutions in the area of internal controls and develop insights into governance, risk, and control processes.
- Explore the use of digital audit and data analytics tools and support the team in delivering robust analyses for our clients.
- Work within a diverse team and international network while receiving regular coaching and feedback from colleagues and leadership.
Your Skill Set
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related field, with at least four semesters completed.
- Strong willingness to learn, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine interest in financial markets and the investment management industry.
- Analytical mindset with the ability and enthusiasm to investigate and understand complex topics in a structured manner.
- Dynamic, communicative, and open personality with a collaborative approach to working with clients, international teams, and a variety of stakeholders.
- Motivation to take ownership and continuously develop in an environment that promotes coaching, feedback, and personal growth.
- Interest in data analytics, digital tools, and emerging technologies is an advantage.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, and excellent written and spoken English; German and/or French language skills are considered an asset.
