Job Description

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, what’s the most stylish outfit of them all?” If you’ve ever dreamed of having a personal fashion advisor—instantly grasping your event type, color preferences, and style goals—then this internship offers you the chance to make it real. As our intern, you’ll design and build a next-generation fashion recommendation platform that merges conversational AI with a graph-based data foundation. By blending the strengths of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques with expansive fashion insights, you’ll craft a system that turns everyday prompts—like “I want a flowing dress for a garden wedding”—into curated, on-trend outfit suggestions.

As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to shape an end-to-end solution: from preparing and structuring massive fashion datasets into a powerful knowledge graph, to designing an intelligent chat interface that interacts seamlessly with this data. You’ll explore advanced language models, integrate them into a dynamic retrieval architecture, and deliver a truly interactive user experience. Whether recommending complementary pieces, surfacing relevant looks from past trends, or providing real-time style advice, SmartWardrobe will challenge you to push the boundaries of AI-powered fashion.

Objectives

• Develop a chat-driven recommendation system that interprets natural language prompts and delivers relevant, personalized style options.
• Implement a robust data pipeline to handle large-scale, fashion-focused datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Showcase a proof-of-concept application in which users receive quick, intelligent, and context-aware suggestions

Skills required

• Proficiency in Python, with exposure to data analytics or machine learning frameworks.
• Familiarity with NLP or Deep Learning, including the use of large language models
• Understanding of software architecture principles, focusing on scalability and interactive design.
• Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL, …)
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly
