Global Initiatives Management Intern
The Communications and Public Affairs function is crucial to our success. They are responsible for creating clear and targeted messaging for employees, customers and stakeholders, while supporting strong brand positioning, facilitating positive media relations, and managing public affairs. Support the Global Initiatives Management team in ensuring the quality of implementing the global Communications alignment strategy.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting development of tools and measures to implement global communications strategy
- Supporting and contributing to alignment routines
- Supporting the development of global communications projects
- Analyzing and cross-check data and information for global communications projects Perform regular analysis of communication activities - in the form of performance reports
- Aligning and consolidate briefing documents for ABB senior management
- Tracking COMs KPIs - developed by the global communications team
- Supporting team in daily operations
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
- Enrolled in or recently (2019) graduated from university (or similar)
- Working knowledge and proven experience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Self-reliant and self-starter
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented with close attention to formalities
- Some previous work experience is beneficial
- Must be fluent in English fluency in German and any other language beneficial
- The job location is in Zurich, Switzerland
