Your role
Do you want to turn complex financial and economic data into forward-looking insights that shape strategic decisions? Are you excited by corporate finance, scenario analysis and the opportunity to use artificial intelligence to rethink how analysis is performed?
We’re looking for an ambitious graduate to join our 2027 Graduate Talent Program in Group Economic Performance Scenario Analytics (GEPSA). You’ll work at the intersection of Finance, Strategy, Risk and Technology, helping senior stakeholders understand what drives the firm’s performance and what different futures could mean for our business.
You’ll get to:
- analyze financial, economic and business data to identify performance drivers, emerging trends, risks and opportunities
- support senior decision-makers, including Business Division CFO teams and the Group CFO organization, with clear, independent and decision-ready insights
- work closely with the teams responsible for the three-year strategic plan, develop data-driven forecasts and investigate differences between model-based expectations and business plans
- build scenarios and sensitivities to assess how changes in markets, the economy, policy or client activity could affect revenues and business performance
- translate complex quantitative results into concise executive narratives and materials for senior finance and management forums
- use current AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, analysis, reconciliation and insight generation while applying sound judgement and appropriate controls
- help design and prototype new AI-enabled workflows, analytical applications and reusable tools that improve how the team works
- take ownership of defined analytical workstreams and collaborate with specialists across Finance, Risk, Strategy and Technology
Your team
You’ll be based in Zurich and join Group Economic Performance Scenario Analytics (GEPSA), a global team that connects Finance, Strategy, Risk and Technology. Our mission is to provide independent, forward-looking perspectives on profitability, growth and business-model resilience, helping senior management steer the firm through both its strategic planning cycle and rapidly changing market conditions. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across locations and with Business Division Finance, Group Finance, Risk, Treasury, Technology and planning teams, gaining exposure to the firm’s different businesses and perspectives.

- is a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months)
- has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date
- has no more than two years of full-time work experience

- has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
- is curious about corporate finance, financial markets, economics, business strategy and how a global financial institution creates value
- enjoys working with data, structuring open-ended questions and connecting quantitative findings to business decisions
- can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and is motivated to build compelling stories from analysis
- brings a structured, detail-oriented approach while remaining pragmatic in a fast-moving environment
- is eager to use AI responsibly, automate repetitive work and experiment with new analytical tools and applications
is excited to learn from finance, quantitative modelling and technology specialists and to build a career at a leading global financial institution
