Develop your individual skills with us in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams! We are looking for you as an 100% audit assistant in for October 2023 at our beautiful location, Lugano.

From day one you will work in a team with experienced colleagues and be in direct contact with our customers. The coaching by your team will help you to further develop your technical know-how and your soft skills. As an Audit Intern at EY, you can deepen your accounting knowledge and also get to know our innovative audit approach and our modern audit tools. Your most important tasks will be auditing the annual and consolidating financial statements of companies from a wide variety of industries - you can further deepen your accounting knowledge and also get to know our innovative audit approach and our modern audit tools. You assess compliance with regulatory provisions, for example in the areas of risk management and money laundering. As a prospective auditor, you will complete the training to become a certified auditor and have the unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the business of national and international companies from a wide variety of industries. Continuous further training through participation in various training courses on (digital) auditing, accounting, etc.

Skills and Traits for Success

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, business informatics or in a STEM course (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

• You are curious and interested in working in auditing. You bring a high degree of discipline and perseverance to master the training, e.g. to become a certified public accountant.

• Integrity, respect and teamwork are among your central guiding principles and values.

• You have a flair for numbers and are motivated to gain experience in dealing with modern data analysis methods.

• You enjoy dealing with other people - be it directly with our customers or your future team colleagues.

• You are interested in the organization and core processes of national and international companies in a wide variety of industries and would like to acquire in-depth knowledge of their internal control systems.

• You feel comfortable in an international environment and can easily express yourself in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
