Help our clients make investment or divestment decisions

Launch your career in our Strategy & Transactions team. We advise clients from strategy to execution on topics covering valuation & modeling, cost optimisation, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, M&A, and sustainability. We are currently looking for a trainee to join the M&A Transaction Services team.

By joining our team, you will actively support clients make M&A decisions and maximise their returns as sellers and buyers. Your work will directly impact the pricing and execution of M&A transactions.

How you can make an impact

  • You will have the opportunity to structure, analyse and present financial statements, company reports and other financial information on companies from various sectors - independently and in teams - using various tools (Alteryx, Excel, Power BI, Tableau as well as various AI-enabled tools)
  • You will use both financial analysis and presentation skills to identify, quantify and communicate M&A-relevant findings in an impactful manner
  • You will learn to maintain attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
  • You will be working in different project-based team constellations in a highly collaborative environment. You will have the chance to positively contribute to the team spirit with your down-to-earth attitude and high motivation

Who we are looking for

  • Motivation to work under pressure and with short deadlines
  • Nearing the completion of your Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting and/or MBA
  • Previous internships and/or work experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Audit, Private Equity, Finance & Control etc. are highly appreciated
  • Experience in due diligence projects and/or analysis of balance sheets, cash flows, income statements is a plus
  • Strong Excel skills, prior experience handling large financial datasets (e.g. using Alteryx) and/or knowledge of tools such as Tableau and Power BI is an advantage
  • English & German and/or French are mandatory. Any additional languages would be a strong advantage
