We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Internship Program within Group Risk Control.

You’ll get to:

• explore how credit risks are identified, monitored and managed across UBS’s Swiss lending book, while helping to improve underlying processes and produce analytics
• build and enhance analytics capabilities around credit risk control activities, transforming complex data into clear, practical tools for portfolio control and decision making
• drive innovative automation and AI initiatives that make risk control activities smarter, faster and more scalable, using state-of-the art technologies

Your team

.You’ll be joining the Automation and Digital Enablement team within the Portfolio Control and Services (PC&S) unit of CRO P&C. PC&S acts as the center of excellence for credit review and monitoring processes for the UBS’s Swiss lending book (including mortgages and corporate lending). The Automation and Digital Enablement team builds and maintains various analytics capabilities around the processes conducted by CRO P&C and develops automation solutions to upgrade day-to-day risk control activities.

Your expertise

.We’re looking for a candidate who:

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• has excellent English skills, German is a plus
• demonstrates strong coding skills in R, Python, VBA/Access, and SQL, experience in git is a plus
• has experience in quantitative modelling / data science

Start date: 1 September 2026 or upon agreement
