Tasks

• Assist main analyst at the bulk and certificates desk in building new fundamental models, improving and automating existing ones
• Frequently discuss energy markets with trading desk
• Coordinate model assumptions with trading analysts

Profile

• University degree in mathematics, physics or engineering with a solid quantitative academic training. Position is open for PhD students.
• Strong interest in commodity (particularly energy) and carbon markets: Coal, freight, bulk, emissions
• Coding skills (Python, SQL, R, a.o.)
• Fluency in English, other languages are an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and volatile market conditions
