Your role

Do you have a genuine passion for investing or are you just curious about how markets work? Would you rather gain investment experience across asset classes and roles than to immediately specialize? Do you want to explore a genuinely global Asset Manager while still being based in Switzerland?

Are you up for a challenge and a steep learning curve? Then we’re looking for you to join our 2027 Asset Management Graduate Talent Program in Investments.

You’ll get to:

• build a strong understanding of our company and industry as well as our culture and strategy
• support teams who provide wholesale, retail and institutional clients with investment products, solutions and advice
• develop in-depth knowledge of financials markets, traditional investments and real estate
• immediate integration in teams with experienced professionals, with practical learning on the job
• up to four rotations in different investment areas, including the potential of cross-divisional rotations
• make life-long connections with graduate peers through networking events, cross-business teach-ins and social occasions

Your team

You will work in UBS Asset Management, one of the leading investment managers in the world. We are a large-scale asset manager offering investment capabilities and styles across all major traditional asset classes and real estate, from active to passive and including a comprehensive sustainable investing offering.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• will graduate with a Master’s degree no longer than 18 months prior to starting our program, with less than 12-months of work experience post-graduation
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 5 according to the Swiss grading system
• has experience using LLMs
• is comfortable with numbers, solving problems and logical thinking
• has coding skills (Python preferred), a requirement for our Quantitative teams and a plus for other rotations
• has values that align with ours: honest, hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• personality-wise is responsible, motivated and has good judgement
• works independently, goal oriented and has attention to detail and strong communication skills
• is willing to pursue a CFA, which is a requirement
• is fluent in English and ideally German, with any additional languages being a plus
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency

Your program

Our Graduate Talent Program in Asset Management Investments is 18 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of asset management. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
