About the Role
Shape the future of Controls, Risk and Finance through Data, Automation and AI
You’ll work at the intersection of data, AI, and business transformation—advising clients on intelligent automation, GenAI solutions, and AI-driven controls across Finance, Risk, and Internal Audit. Deploy your passion for emerging technologies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and translate complex business challenges into practical, high-impact solutions. Grow your expertise in data analytics, automation, and AI governance while making a tangible difference in how organizations operate.
How you can make an impact
- Work with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into data, automation and AI-enabled solutions, particularly across Controls, Risk, Internal Audit, AI Governance, Treasury and Finance Transformation.
- Analyse, structure and connect data from different sources, supporting the development of data pipelines, analytical models, dashboards and technology-enabled controls.
- Contribute across the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and process analysis through solution design, prototyping, testing, implementation and communication of results.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary Deloitte teams across areas such as AI & Data, Cyber, Technology Strategy, Finance Transformation and Human Capital to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support client workshops, presentations and proposals, communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you bring to succeed
- A consulting mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability and willingness to work directly with clients, understand their requirements and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A university degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance or a related discipline.
- Initial professional experience — or strong academic/project experience — in data analytics, data engineering, software development, automation, machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- Hands-on experience with Python and/or SQL, together with familiarity with modern data processing, analytics or visualisation technologies.
- Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage.
What sets you apart
- Exposure to one or more modern cloud and data platforms, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake or comparable technologies.
- Interest or practical experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models and AI agents; exposure to concepts such as APIs, RAG, tool integration, orchestration or agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar platforms.
- A genuine interest in applying technology beyond purely technical use cases — particularly to Controls, Risk, Internal Audit, AI Governance, Treasury and Finance Transformation.
