You’ll get to:

• manage daily business in GFIW client servicing and deliver exceptional client service and experience
• be the point of entry for processing client orders, e.g. stock orders, foreign exchange, loans and deposits
• be the direct contact for daily banking activities and administrative work for our clients
• manage daily client transactions and carry out inquiries and troubleshooting
• perform account maintenance tasks and client-related processes; e.g. account opening and closing, suitability reviews, initial and recurring KYC and due diligence
• collaborate with different teams on strategic projects with a goal of improving our client experience and driving engagement
• identify patterns in client behavior and support the Client Advisors in expanding depth and breadth of the relationship (cross-selling opportunities); think strategically, propose options and support the development of the client book
• support client advisors in administrative, risk and legal and compliance related tasks and duties
• build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy, while learning about how we operate to effectively meet the needs of our clients
• develop professionally by establishing a network of mentors and business contacts we believe are some of the best in the business
• attend educational events led by senior leaders that provide extensive exposure and insight into the business

Your team

You’ll be working in our Global Wealth Management team in Zurich. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. We’ve successfully built the number one wealth management franchise in the world. You’ll work with the best talent in the industry, as we help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients.

Global Family & Institutional Wealth (GFIW) is a unique joint venture between UBS Global Wealth Management (GWM) and UBS Investment Bank (IB). GFIW serves some of the largest institutional Family Office clients that require both, GWM services and access to IB capabilities, often across countries and booking centers. GFIW offers comprehensive and highly personalized financial services to satisfy our clients’ sophisticated needs.

You’ll be working in the GFIW Europe International UK & NORDICS team in Zurich. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals, single family offices, entrepreneurial families and their businesses. The collaboration with other businesses such as the Investment Bank or Asset Management is very close. You’ll play an important role in our delivery of bespoke client services and become a trusted client account manager for the wealthiest families. You’ll be part of the client coverage team and closely collaborate with client advisors. Our combined efforts help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients, through strong partnership at every stage of their journey.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree no longer than 18 months prior to the program start date
• has excellent English (written and oral), fluency in further languages is an asset
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• is able to utilize tools and resources to service clients as efficiently as possible
• has interest in financial markets and in dealing with institutional-like clients
• has sound judgement and problem-solving skills with a proactive style that delivers timely results
• has excellent written and oral communications skills including the ability to deliver difficult messages, complex ideas and client issues with confidence

Your program

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long, and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of wealth management. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
To successfully complete the GWM EMEA GTP, you will be required to:

• complete at least one rotation in another division of the bank
• successfully complete the internal AI fluency training
• complete the Wealth Management Essentials+ program, a comprehensive curriculum designed to build your functional knowledge and competence in Wealth Management at UBS
