2027 Internship Program – Corporate & Institutional Clients - Basel

Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically to support business clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Internship Program within our Corporate and Institutional Clients (CIC) business in Switzerland.

You’ll get to:

• work alongside experienced Corporate Client Advisors and support daily client management activities
• contribute to client meetings and help develop customized financial solutions
• analyze financial statements and business models of companies across various industries.
• partner with specialists from different areas of the bank to deliver holistic advice
• maintain relationships with internal and external clients
• build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy

Your team

You’ll be working in our Corporate and Institutional Clients team and gain valuable insights into Switzerland’s leading corporate banking institutions. You will work closely with experienced Client Advisors, support corporate clients in their financial needs, and develop a strong understanding of the local business landscape. We’re responsible for corporate clients from small start-ups and enterprises to large corporate clients. Our team combines diverse expertise across relationship management, corporate financing, business development, and strategic advisory. We work closely together, share knowledge openly, and support each other in delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• is fluent in German and proficient in English, additional languages are a plus
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Start Date: February 2027

Your program

This paid internship will last 6 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
