In our „Product evaluation and qualification“ team at Hitachi Energy Semiconductors in Lenzburg, we make sure to get to the bottom of things and deliver faultless robust semiconductor chips and power modules through a rigorous qualification process. Our products are delivered to a wide range of customers worldwide for different industrial applications as well as renewable energy, traction and eMobility.

For the extension and strengthening of our testing activities, we look for a highly motivated test engineer.

Your Responsibilities / Tasks

In your role as and R&D Engineer - Software and Hardware, you will be involved in our day-to-day testing activity.

While this is a fundamental part of your job, you ensure to sustain and further develop our customized tools. Your combined know-how of electronics and software makes you eager to push the boundaries of efficient testing and data handling to support our development activities.

You are engaged in general activities in the testing laboratory to ensure continuous improvement of our activities to guarantee customer satisfaction. Compliance with safety rules, environmental protection, and following the cleanliness and order in the test laboratories, is a core consideration in your every action.

Your background and skills:

• Proven track record of combining SW and HW skills
• Hands-on experience in electrical test systems, power electronics, or similar is a must
• At least first experience using Python
• Team player with a can-do attitude
• Safety and quality-oriented
• Analytic mindset with the capability to summarize results in a clear and conclusive manner
• Fluent in English and ideally German
