Installation Project Manager for Switchgear 80-100% (m/f/d) URGENTE

Our unit Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), based in Zürich-Oerlikon, is active in the development and produc-tion of gas insulated switching systems. In the challenging position of Installation Project Manager for Switchgear 80-100% (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the professional and timely execution of repairs to systems, which includes installation, commissioning and mainte-nance work. You will work on the continuous improvement of processes and activities (CIP) with the aim of always achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and an optimum project result for Hitachi Energy.
Your responsibility
- In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting (faults during the warranty period) and the processing, organizational management and coordination of “on-site repair, commissioning and maintenance work”
- You are the contact person for internal and external customers
- You will supervise assigned field service employees, create installation schedules taking into account the available and necessary resources (consumables, tools and employees) and monitor and document repair progress and costs
- You are also responsible for compliance with safety regulations and the necessary quality assurance measures, for minimizing project costs and risks and for processing deviation reports during on-site work in line with the process, including initiating appropriate corrective measures
Your background
- Basic technical training and several years of practical experience in the installation and/or commissioning of GIS systems
- Solid technical expertise and management experience is an advantage
- Technical school TS
- Good written and spoken German and English, other languages an advantage
- Confident appearance and convincing communication skills, especially when working with different cultures
- Ability to work in a team and organizational skills
- Assertiveness and leadership skills with a willingness to visit construction sites worldwide
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
