Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically in contributing to Data Management and Analytics, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Group Technology.

You’ll get to:

  • contribute to the end-to-end implementation of reporting solutions, from requirement analysis to the development, testing, and operation of a report.
  • provide data-based insights to optimize IT Asset Management and IT Service Management processes.
  • understand the data model and data sources used for IT Asset Management and IT Service Management.
  • drive curation of data on the data distribution platform.
  • collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of the department.
  • drive the evolution of the reporting platform.
  • create efficiencies with room for experimentation to try new things and implement industry best practices to form the foundation of our overall reporting strategy.

Your team

You’ll be working in our Data & Reporting team in the Technology Inventory, Data & Reporting Services Stream, a hub within UBS dedicated to integrating data management from IT Asset Management and IT Service Management applications and producing analytics and reporting solutions for our stakeholders. Our mission is to develop, test, and deploy data reporting solutions that enhance our business operations, improve client experiences, fulfill regulatory and compliance requirements, and maintain our competitive edge in the financial industry.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree), preferably in a MINT topic
  • has analytical skills and a data driven mindset
  • has know-how gained from experience (internship or similar) in Python or R development
  • has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
  • is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
  • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program

This paid internship will last 6-months . You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
