Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically with private, corporate and institutional clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Wealth Management Switzerland PFA team.

You’ll get to:

  • take on smaller project work, such as screening UBS News and developing ways to improve our day-to-day work
  • analytically, you will carry out client book analyses and develop resulting measures
  • in day-to-day risk management, you will use your interest in correctly understanding situations to help verify transactions and client behaviour as well as to ensure KYC/VSB standards
  • in addition, as a contact person for telephone and written client inquiries, you will gain your first experience in the field of payments and savings and you will accompany our clients into the digital future and support them in using our digital products

Your team

We are Personnel Financial Affairs (PFA). The bank within the bank. Our clients are UBS employees, retirees and their relatives. Our workplace is located in the modern Europaallee, directly at Zurich’s main train station. Our division is the first point of contact for our clients and is responsible for the support of existing and new clients. Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
  • has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
  • has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
  • is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
  • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
  • is fluent in (Swiss) German, English is a plus

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. Your program

This paid internship will last six months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
