The Position
The PCR Systems Product Care group - consisting of about 30 employees - is focused on the support of on market PCR IVD systems such as cobasⓇ5800 andcobasⓇ 6800/8800, by doing root cause analysis, testing workarounds or developing new hardware and software versions. The department is based within the Molecular Diagnostics division of the Molecular Systems business. The roles within the group all have a strong technical/scientific focus, such as Software and Hardware Test Analysts, Test Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Technical Project Managers and lab personnel working with assays.
The Opportunity:
- Test new software versions of cobasⓇ5800 and/orcobasⓇ 6800/8800
- Review requirements and create test cases
- Test workarounds of issues reported by our customers
Who You Are:

You are currently enrolled in a university (Bachelor, Master) OR graduated within the last 12 months prior to the start date, ideally in the field of Engineering or Life Science
- You are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship
- You are interested in testing complex medical systems.
- You like to work both individually and in teams
- You are detail oriented
- You have a high degree of flexibility and proactiveness
- You are proficient in English; German language skills are considered an asset

Additional Information:
- Please note, due to regulations, non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents, and must be continuously enrolled in their university for the whole duration of this internship.
- This is a full-time position (100%), and part-time arrangements are not available for this role.
- This internship is focused on operational support; therefore, it is not intended for writing a thesis.
