Your role

Are you driven by the desire to deliver exceptional business analysis to your clients that enables change and bridges IT and Business? Do you have the proven ability to analyze processes, understand your clients’ requirements and talk to IT? Would you like to learn about how risk is calculated and managed at UBS and become a subject matter expert?

We’re looking for a high performer like you to help us to:

  • manage and support the delivery of a variety of challenging projects across Risk Control Change Management
  • conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting end user interviews
  • provide documentation of processes and business requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications
  • work with Functional Architects and other Business Analysts to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
  • coordinate with IT on the design and testing of solutions including user acceptance testing
  • support and follow-up investigation of questions, issues, and defects
  • ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements

Your team

You’ll be working in the Credit Risk Methodology Change team in Zurich. We are part of the wider Risk Control organization and work as agents of change for our Risk Control colleagues. We are primarily responsible for eliciting detailed business requirements relating to data sourcing, calculations, outputs, methodology and end-to-end controls which drive fundamental IT systems and business process changes. We provide a team-oriented, collaborative atmosphere in a multicultural environment. As a Business Analyst, you will play an important role in driving our change agenda and book of work. Your expertise

  • a degree (Bachelor or higher) in business administration, finance, economics, engineering or mathematical studies
  • proactive, self-driven approach with a “can do”, solution-oriented attitude and analytical mind making sure solutions are fit for purpose and in line with stakeholder expectations
  • highly structured and organized enabling you to be successful in an agile environment and to deliver several work packages at a time and within the given deadline
  • known for your ability to build long-term relationships and good communicator across the organization with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • a good grasp on mathematical and/or statistical concepts (exposure to Credit Risk concepts and the Retail, Corporate and Private Banking / Wealth Management Business is a plus)
  • experience in a similar position and/or projects is a plus
