This internship focuses on analyzing the business needs of project teams using Azure DevOps (ADO) and developing a custom extension to address identified gaps. The extension will enhance team productivity and collaboration by integrating additional functionalities, custom workflows, or advanced reporting tools tailored to the specific requirements of the organization.

Objective

• Conduct a detailed analysis of the project team’s workflow and business needs within Azure DevOps
• Identify gaps in the current ADO capabilities and opportunities for improvement through custom extensions
• Design, develop, and test an Azure DevOps extension using modern web technologies and ADO APIs
• Ensure seamless integration of the extension with existing ADO workflows
• Document the development process and provide a guide for future maintenance or enhancements

Skills required

• Strong understanding of software development workflows and agile methodologies
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools and services
• Experience with REST APIs and building web-based integrations
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and gather requirements
• Fluent in German and English
• Bachelor degree
