The Real Estate Consultant plays a key role within the real estate valuation team by leading appraisal projects, providing expertise in property valuation (complex residential, retail and commercial sectors) in the Romandie / French-speaking part of Switzerland, and ensures the highest standards of accuracy and quality in our valuation reports.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Conduct complex valuation for a variety of residential and commercial properties, including those with unique or specialized attributes.
- Analyze the properties and make / validate the estimates independently, using both static and dynamic valuation methods. Create the valuation reports.
- Review the key figures vs. market data to check plausibility
- Carry out property site visits.
- Perform research on property sales, market and economic factors affecting real estate.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the valuation team’s quality and compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
- Review valuation reports, ensuring they meet company quality standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to gather relevant information and address inquiries related to valuations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of valuation processes and methodologies.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized valuation records and files.
YOUR PROFILE
- At least 3 years of experience in real estate valuation in the Romandie (French-speaking Switzerland)
- Familiarity with local real estate markets and economic trends impacting real estate values (French-speaking Switzerland, focus Lemanic region as well as mountain regions)
- Completion of real estate-specific further training, e.g.: MAS Real Estate, CAS, Federal Professional Certificate (FH/SIREA, SVIT, IFZ, WISS, EPFL)
- Independent, analytical, accurate and structured way of working
- Well developed experience in valuation methods, proficiency in relevant software for data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Attention to details during property inspections
- Well developed presentation skills and perfect command of MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in French and English, good command of German would be a benefit
