The Position
The centralized Treasury department in Basel ensures optimal financing and appropriate liquidity of the Group and its affiliates. It is responsible for managing the financial assets and liabilities for the entire Roche Group.
Within the treasury department, the Back Office and Digital Treasury team
manages the master data maintenance and transaction processing on the global treasury SAP system, as well as the portfolio of Data Science and Analytics solutions built to improve the efficiency of Treasury processes.
The opportunity
- Gaining broad exposure across analytics and operations within a global treasury function

Spending ~70% of your time on Treasury Analytics:
- Developing ad-hoc SQL queries and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Building dashboards and data visualizations to generate quick insights
- Supporting business users in self-service analytics and ongoing learning
- Contributing to Data Science proof-of-concepts, e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, optimization, generative AI
- Spending ~30% of your time on Treasury Operations:
- Processing a variety of treasury transactions such as money market, securities, derivatives, and FX

Maintaining master data in the global SAP system and support centralized month-end close
- Assisting and eventually lead treasury-related projects, including regulatory changes, automation, and cross-finance integration
Who you are
- You have a solid foundation in data analysis (SQL, Python) and ideally experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer/Data Science, or Industrial Engineering, and are either pursuing a Master’s or graduated within the last year
- You are legally authorized to work in Switzerland (no work permit sponsorship available)
- You communicate confidently in English and enjoy collaborating in a team environment
- You bring curiosity and motivation to work across finance and technology topics
