You will work on control strategies for Hybrid Modular Multilevel Converters, supported by dynamic, multidisciplinary teams. How you’ll make an impact
- Support the technology development and research activities in the formulation of control concepts for Hybrid Modular Multilevel Converter topologies
- Develop simulation prototypes to assess the transient performance of the control architecture under different types of faults
- Perform state-of-the-art analysis and technology reviews. Benchmark the achieved results against state-of-the-art solutions for the given application
- Disseminate and report your results with the teams, write technical documentation, propose creative and efficient solutions towards industrial implementation
Your background
- Enrolled in an MSc program in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Control and Automation Engineering or a related field
- Expertise in modelling and control for power electronics in grid applications or modular multilevel converters
- Experience in PSCAD programming (or alternative power electronics simulation tools) and domain knowledge on power valves are strongly appreciated
- Excellent communication skills, team player attitude, initiative, and creativity
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
