The Position
PD Medical Affairs (PDMA) plays a pivotal role in advancing the future of healthcare by connecting scientific advances with medical practice needs and embedding medical practice realities into Roche strategies. Join the Product Development Medical Affairs (PDMA) Nucleus Team in the E2E Evidence Generation sub-chapter for a 12-months internship in Basel. The E2E Evidence Generation Team is a sub-chapter of the PDMA Nucleus, a Medical Affairs enabling function. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Strategic Planning, Data & Insights, Systems & Tools and Resource & Knowledge Management.
The Opportunity:
- Data maintenance: to Ensure data accuracy in various areas, ensure the maintenance and management of structural organizational charts pertaining to the internal structure of the PDMA organization including work to accurately reflect
- Regular Reporting and Analytics, e.g. in the area of Resource Management
- Data Management & Digital Innovation: Assist with digital tools, maintain key data repositories, support communication initiatives and cooperate with the IT development team to bolster ideas and promote development of digital products
- Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with time-coding standards throughout PDMA
- Hands-On Experience: Work closely with Medical Affairs teams in an international and multicultural environment, assisting with strategic planning, data management, and resource management.
- Support the Nucleus team with ad-hoc projects and tasks across the sub-chapter
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in university (Bachelor/Master), or you finished your studies in the last 12 months prior to the start date, ideally in the field of Life Sciences, Data Sciences, Business Administration or related fields
- You are a team player with strong communication, self-reflection, assertiveness skills, open-minded, flexible and creative with a can-do attitude.
- You have project management and analytical skills
- You have experience in data management and resource management
- You have a general understanding and interest in the pharmaceutical process
- You have advanced knowledge in Google Apps Suite and AI tools
- You are fluent in spoken and written English
This internship is not suitable for a Master’s thesis.
