Your Role
As a Working Student your main responsibilities will involve:
- Help to define the quantitative analysis approach covering fixed income, equity and currency markets
- Improve forecasting capabilities
- Maintain and develop macroeconomic and financial databases
- Research topical economic and financial issues, providing coherent and structured analysis
- Provide accurate and timely data analysis
- Employ a systematic approach to information gathering
Your Skills and Experience
As a Working Student your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Master student in statistics or economics/finance
- Work experience in a professional investment environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Programming skills in R, Matlab or similar software
- Excel (VBA) programming skills are a plus
- Good understanding of macro economics and financial market fundamentals
- Knowledge of financial market information systems such as Bloomberg and Datastream as well as Microsoft office software
