Your Role

As part of a multicultural team you will act as a main point of contact for different stakeholders in regards to spare part logistics and will be responsible for the following task areas:

  • Acting as an interface for the service and operation team and building productive internal and external relationships
  • Handling a variety of logistic issues in a trading environment
  • Working closely together with third party warehousing
  • Monitoring and tracking shipments of spare parts and informing internal stakeholders in all subjects related to the order status to ensure timely deliveries leading to smooth processes
  • Monitoring and planning inventory by providing data analysis to ensure inventory replenishment and participating in process improvement efforts
  • Purchasing required materials and handling the order processes
  • Ensuring all tasks are in line with internal guidelines and are completed in a consistent manner

Requirements

  • Dynamic, multi-national company with flat hierarchies
  • Solid English skills and first experience in logistics required

  • Commercial education or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of working experience in logistics and/or purchasing
  • Previous experience within an international and fast paced environment
  • Technical affinity is an advantage
  • English skills (written and spoken) required, good German skills are preferred
  • MS Office knowledge, experience with an ERP System, especially Oracle is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong assertiveness
  • Ability to multitask and ambition to take responsibility based on your own daily plan
  • Strong detail orientation by working in an accurate and resilient manner
