GBTS Verification & Validation Engineer

What you do:

• Capturing, analysing and deriving requirements for training systems software and hardware components with the aim of producing test procedures/documentation for all implemented software components
• Production of testing documentation and unit tests for implemented software components
• Performing validation & verification activities for training products such as flight simulators, computer based training, mission planning and debriefing systems
• Liaising with project stakeholders on a technical level to ensure requirement traceability and testability as well as correct system implementation
• Support the project team by supporting systems’ acceptances activities at both integration and end user locations (requires worldwide travelling)
• Managing actively the bug tracking of systems’ issues assigning tasks and checking timely completion

What you bring:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronic or Software Engineering, with at least five years of experience in complex hardware-in-the-loop systems testing, verification and validation
• Proven knowledge of system and software test practices (e.g. based on ISO/IEC 29119) with embedded systems or Windows/Linux based
• Knowledge of JIRA tool, Agile/Scrum development environment and usage of Kanban boards
• Self-starter mentality with excellent communication skills (English at least on B2 level) as well as the flexibility to interact with different partners
