This is your opportunity for hands-on work experience and insight into attraction, sourcing and hiring of new employees in a highly communicative and challenging business environment.

This internship is within our Basel Recruiting Team (Talent Acquisition) responsible for recruiting all Pharma Commercial and Diagnostics recruitment. Typical recruitment involves senior executives including internal talent management, external executive recruitment and frequently, complex international relocation.

Roche Commercial are the guardians of the Roche product portfolio, interacting with affiliates and regions to ensuring access for patients in as many geographies as possible. During your internship your base will be in Basel.

During the internship in our dynamic, international team you will:

  • Gain firsthand experience in recruiting within a complex international environment
  • Be an active member of the recruitment team and add to the further development of selection tools
  • Learn about agile ways of working and be part of a transformation into a self-organized team
  • Be able to work on your own projects within the recruitment team (in particular, the offer-management module of onboarding)
  • Provide hands-on support for your colleagues in their recruiting areas
  • Search for, select, and hire the best talents to meet immediate and future business needs
  • Acquire knowledge of our HR tool Workday

Who you are

You are a student in the advanced phase of your Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Psychology / Business with a focus on employee/leadership selection, assessment and development or/and Differential/Personality Psychology and Diagnostics. You ideally have first work experience in Human Resources and you are highly motivated to share your knowledge and contribute with new ideas.

You are fluent in business English.

You’ll need to convince us and our colleagues with the following skills and competencies:

  • Dedicated people person with an interest in delivering high-quality service
  • Outgoing, compassionate personality with a flair for networking and open communication
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Self-starter with a passion for recruitment tasks willing to go a steep learning curve
  • Interest to apply and transfer knowledge in personnel selection/assessment tools (e.g. Assessment Center) into practice
  • Knowledge of common MS Office and Google products

The preferred start date of the internship is August 2019 or as soon as possible. However, please indicate your availability in your motivation letter. Applications need to include a CV and a short (no more than 200 words) motivation letter.
