NGO / NPO
NGOs/NPOs are non-profit, voluntary citizens' groups and are deeply rooted in Swiss society. They often champion issues and concerns that have no lobby of their own and therefore do not occupy a central place on the political agenda. NGOs/NPOs offer new employees something unique: the thrill of making a difference and a lot of meaningfulness in terms of positively influencing the environment. The actual field of study of graduates is less important than strong language skills, openness to other cultures and the willingness to work abroad.
Unterschiede von NGO und NPO Jobs
NGOs und NPOs unterscheiden sich in einigen Punkten. Trotzdem werden sie häufig als Synonym verwendet. NGOs fokussieren sich immer auf politische Themen und finanzieren sich durch Spenden und Mitgliedsbeiträge. Ihr Ziel ist es, politische Probleme ausfindig zu machen und diese zu verändern. NPOs hingegen können sich verschiedenen gemeinnützigen Themen widmen, erwirtschaften auch eigene Mittel und können auch spezifische Dienstleistungen anbieten. Während NGOs meist international agieren, sind NPOs oft auf nationaler oder regionaler Ebene tätig.
