Your role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated intern with strong interest in Eastern European and Central Asian countries, willing to:

  • gain an excellent overview of one of the most complex regions in Wealth Management
  • be fully involved in and dedicated to the daily business and the development of projects for the region
  • get senior management exposure

Main activities:

  • work on growth-related activities, initiatives, and projects for WM Eastern Europe & Central Asia
  • conduct analyses to support management decisions
  • support ongoing and ad-hoc requests from senior management, front staff, and functional partners

Internship
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the business management team of WM & GFIW Eastern Europe & Central Asia in Zurich. We support our market head in handling day-to-day operations and driving the strategic agenda forward. You will also be supporting specific markets within our region and learn a lot about client related work.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

  • an autonomous, proactive, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • high flexibility, the ability to prioritize and work on several projects at the same time
  • good communication skills, you’re comfortable on interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • the ability to stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • high motivation and determination to go the extra mile
  • a good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • fluency in English (both written and oral), Russian is a plus

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
