EURES – Professional mobility in Europe

EURES (EURopean Employment Services) is the European network for professional mobility. It supports jobseekers and employers in 31 European countries before, during and after a job search or recruitment process.

Through the EURES portal and more than 1,000 EURES advisers, users gain access to job vacancies and CVs across Europe, as well as to information, advice and placement services. The services on offer include, amongst other things, career guidance, support with job applications, matching vacancies with candidates’ profiles, information on living and working conditions, legal and social security issues, job fairs, as well as support with language learning, further training and integration.

Particular attention is paid to cross-border workers, employers in border regions and other target groups of the programme for targeted professional mobility. EURES thus facilitates cross-border employment and access to the European labour market.
