Our 18-month Graduate Programme is designed to unleash your potential through three dynamic rotations, including an international assignment. You’ll gain hands-on experience, build a global network, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.
Your team:
You will join the Alternatives Portfolio Management team within the CIO Office. The team develops and manages investment solutions across Private Markets and Hedge Funds. Its responsibilities include portfolio construction, manager selection, due diligence, investment monitoring and the delivery of alternative investment opportunities for Julius Baer clients.

YOUR CHALLENGE
- Support the portfolio management team in the analysis, selection, and monitoring of Private Markets and Hedge Fund investments as well as the management of multi asset bespoke mandates
- Contribute to investment research, market analysis, performance measurement, and risk assessment across alternative asset classes
- Assist in the preparation of investment recommendations, portfolio reviews, and client-facing materials
- Participate in due diligence processes and engage with external fund managers and investment partners
- Collaborate with specialists across the CIO Office, including portfolio management, research, risk management, and sales teams
- Gain exposure to global financial markets and develop a deep understanding of alternative investments within wealth management
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Quantitative Finance, Data Science or a related field (graduation max. 12 months ago)
- Initial practical experience in asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, banking, or alternative investments
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interest in Alternatives investments
- A global mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong appetite for learning
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position
