The Cybersecurity Blue Team plays a critical role in safeguarding an organization’s digital assets and infrastructure against cyber threats and attacks. As a member of our Blue Team, you will proactively work to prevent, detect, and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring the organization maintains a robust security posture.

Your mission and responsibilities:

• In our holistic view of Cybersecurity Operations, the Blue Team does not only detect and react to attacks but also strives to continuously improve the Cybersecurity posture and maturity of our organization. Blue Teamers are natural problem solvers and are personally satisfied with every step towards improvement.
• You will help to drive the continuous improvement of the defensive security and the Organization cybersecurity maturity levels.
• You will assist to the senior colleagues to address findings from audits, pentests or cybersecurity incidents and turn those into actionable measures towards the sustainable improvement.
• You also have the possibility to showcase your technical abilities to find weaknesses and propose the most-suitable countermeasures to set issues straight.

Task and responsibilities:

• Assist the team to improve security of our external attack surface by creating automations to detect and report vulnerabilities to responsible application owners.
• Support owners in remediation actions by providing technical consultations.
• Help to analyze the remediation process and suggest optimalizations.
• Participating on root cause analysis of repeating vulnerabilities and assisting in preparation of actions to remediate the problem on the source, as well as extending the scope of the finding to identify any other similar cases.
• Assist in considering business aspects to support an adequate analysis of cybersecurity issues, whilst ensuring that root causes are properly clarified and addressed.
• You will get the opportunity to understand and employ defense-in-depth principles and practices for the protection mechanisms.

Requirements:

• You must be an active student at a high school or a university
• You are a quick learner and have curiosity to keep pace with ever-evolving cybersecurity developments
• A willingness to learn and adopt new technologies is a must
• You are well organized
• Proactive attitude
• Basic skills in programming. Advanced level of Python, Bash is a plus
• It is an asset if you have a knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including understanding of vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and security best practices.
• Fluent verbal and written English language (min level B2)

Basic salary component (gross) and other remuneration:

The offered remuneration is from 8 € gross / hour. Depending on experience + after incorporation possibility to increase
