The CyberPeace Institute strives for accountability in cyberspace. Independent and neutral, we investigate and analyse the human impact and harm of cyberattacks. We deliver free cybersecurity assistance, advance the enforcement of international laws and norms and forecast digital threats to international peace and security.

Our operating model

Cyberattacks directly affect people. From hospitals to humanitarian NGOs, threat actors target the organizations playing an essential role in supporting those most in need. We are an NGO, supporting NGOs and other critical sectors, offering free cybersecurity assistance, threat detection and analysis whilst advocating for safety and security in cyberspace. Our commitment to assist and protect vulnerable communities determines the focus of the activities of the Institute.

Our Reach

Our projects have been referenced in media across the world, recognising the immediate need to protect vulnerable communities and the organisations that service them from ever increasing harms from threats in cyberspace.

What we care about

We develop programs to support communities vulnerable to threats in cyberspace. By monitoring, assessing and communicating on the cyber threats to these communities, we can work together with partners to better protect them.

Intern or Volunteer​

The CyberPeace Institute offers exceptional opportunities for recent undergraduate and graduate students. In your role you will be able to further develop your skills to help build a successful international organization. Opportunities generally last 6 months and provide individuals with a rewarding, hands-on experience.
