Product Care Engineer Intern
As a Product Care Engineer intern, you will play a crucial role in the lifecycle management of our surge arrester products. You will contribute to product design, technical support, and process improvement while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic engineering environment.
Your responsibilities
- You will be part of the Product Care team and learn about the lifecycle of products
- You will learn and be responsible for surge arrester’s design
- You will have real life example about technical support provided to every department
- You will learn how to lead tasks and small projects from stakeholder alignment, to define, plan and implementation activities
- You will carry out and document tests to qualify designs, materials, products, and processes
- You will conduct RCA and DOEs on factory issues and customer complaints
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with CAD software (such as ProE or similar)
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English, with German language skills being a plus
- Valid work permit for Switzerland
