R&D Engineer - MOV 80-100% (f/m/d) URGENTE

In our R&D department in our Surge Arrester factory in Wettingen, we are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated R&D Engineer to strengthen our team in the area of metal oxide varistor technology for surge arresters.

Your responsibilities

  • Ownership of varistor technology including material, processing and characterization
  • Lead and contribute to R&D projects with planning, execution, analyses and documentation of experiments - both in lab and production scale
  • Participation in the transfer of new recipes and new manufacturing processes to the factories
  • Write tutorial, guidelines, test procedures and reports

Your background

  • University degree in material science, chemistry or physics
  • Know-how in laboratory work and production processes of ceramics preferred
  • At least 6 months of experience in varistor and metal oxide technology for the electrical industry of advantage
  • Team spirit with the capacity to work independently complemented by well-developed analytical skills
  • Openness for new challenges and interest to learn and develop
  • Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
