Technology Center Operations Engineer (f/m/d)
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Technology Centre Central Europe Operations & R&D Support Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our Technology Centre, providing essential administrative and operational support across multiple locations. The position also includes a focus on developing and supporting R&D projects.
Your responsibilities
Technology Center CEU Operations & Administration Support (60%)
- Provide comprehensive support to all team members of the Technology Centre CEU across all locations, ensuring efficient internal operational processes and information management
- Administer and maintain the Transformers Technology Global and Regional SharePoint together with process knowledge database, ensuring it is up-to-date, accessible, and effectively organized
- Drive improvements and automation of internal Technology Centre processes, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and build an AI-driven knowledge database to address organizational and operational inquiries, enhancing decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Assist with travel arrangements, expense management, event planning, and adherence to internal regulations
- Provide Ariba in-direct procurement support for the entire team, collaborating with the procurement team in CSS
R&D Project Development Support (40%)
- Actively contribute to the development of R&D projects, offering dedicated support in various capacities as needed
- Work closely with R&D teams to ensure project timelines are met and that all administrative and operational needs are fulfilled.
- Support in development of Augmented and Virtual Reality solutions for factories and Internal customers Organizing pilots and testing.
- Work with AR-VR Project management and Network to support scouting and best practices solutions to progress development in this technology field.
- Support activities in Building Information Modeling with extension to AR-VR solutions and application within this domain
- Modeling of 3D transformer components and maintenance of BIM library
Your background
- Master’s degree in IT, Media Informatics, Computer Science, Business Communication or relevant field
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations and teams
- Experience in supporting R&D projects and managing projects is a plus
- Exposure and project participation related to Augmented and Virtual Reality technology will be a major advantage
- Programing language skills in fields related to Machine Learning and AR-VR will be an advantage
