Your role

Are you digital? Are you a fast learner and would like to work in a dynamic and agile project environment?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Contribute and work closely with our digital project work streams by supporting with business cases and presentations
  • Help driving projects at the pulse of digitization within UBS, where you are responsible for coordinating concrete implementation proposals and project progress tracking
  • Support Senior management as a Project Management Officer (PMO), create and align documents for communication, analyze and process ad hoc requests

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You work in the Project Management Office (PMO) team within the Operational Transformation department at the Digital Factory (Hardturmstrasse 161). This department is part of the COO division of UBS Switzerland and drives digitization and end-to-end automation projects (e.g. through front-to-back process automation by deploying Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.). Your team takes over the task of coordinating all digital work streams. The range of tasks and responsibilities is wide - from analytical tasks to people topics, coordinating deliverables and key information for the various digital projects. In addition, you support the PMO Head in developing new conceptual & strategic initiatives, thus giving you interesting insights into project planning and management of digital projects at UBS.

Your expertise

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • solid organizational skills, known for hitting deadlines
  • a high level of motivation, able to work independently and apply own initiative
  • know-how gained from experience (or internship) in PMO or similar is an advantage
  • fluency in English, additional fluency in German is a plus

Start date: September 2020, or upon agreement

Your Program

You will get the opportunity to build in-depth insights into project work within the Operational Transformation department (front-to-back process optimization, automation, digitization), as part of P&C COO (Region Switzerland). You will be part of a highly motivated team in a dynamic & diverse environment.
