  • Analyze data and present results at lab meetings
  • Perform work according to established internal safety guidelines and procedures
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Who you are:

  • Your career interests are in Oncology and Molecular Biology, and you are motivated to learn different techniques to underlie new cancer dependencies.
  • Biology, biochemistry or molecular biology student, currently enrolled in the penultimate or last year of a Master’s degree program, or you have graduated within 12 months before the start of the internship.
  • Solid understanding of cancer cell biology
  • Practical experience with mammalian cell culture. Experience in molecular and biochemical assays (qRT-PCR / Western blot) is a plus
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Prism will be a plus
  • A self-motivated and independent thinker with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the desire to work in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment

We expect outstanding motivation, creativity, analytical thinking and a strong dedication to productivity.

The preferred start date of the internship is March 2023 for 9 months.

Applications need to include a CV and a motivation letter. Optional: Reference letters, transcripts, etc.

Due to regulations, non-EU/non-EFTA citizens without either a B permit with work permit or a C permit need to provide a certificate of enrollment, as well as a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory and stating its length.
