Are you looking for an internship in the digitalization of the power systems? At Hitachi Energy Research, we have open positions in the areas of software systems, IoT, edge computing, scalability, programming languages, security, testing, trustworthy systems, embedded and real-time systems. You will join ongoing research projects at our Hitachi Energy Research Center in Baden-Dättwil, and a dynamic, motivated and creative team with a broad range of experience and competences. Your responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge, survey and summarize state-of-the-art literature on software systems.
- Design and implement proof of concept software solutions as part of the research project with efficiency and scalability requirements in mind..
- Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of the proposed solution.
- Effectively engage in an interdisciplinary agile team, self-driven execution of challenging tasks under a stimulating supervision.
- Disseminate knowledge including presentation of results, writing technical reports, and contribution to scientific paper.
Your background
- Enrolled in a MSc degree in Computer Science - official enrollment is essential.
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages - C/C++, Java, C#, Python.
- Willingness to learn modern software technologies such as virtualization and data-driven methods.
- Experience that demonstrates your team-oriented working style.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
