Your mission

Are you looking for a versatile internship where you can see the full picture of a global sports brand? We are looking for an organized and creative Marketing Intern to act as the “central nervous system” of our team.

Your role is to ensure that information flows perfectly between our national strategy and local execution. You will support cross-functional projects across three main pillars: National Campaigns, Social Media, and Major Events.

Your responsibilities

  • Campaign coordination (Opecos): You will be the point of contact for centralizing campaign data. You’ll handle everything from gathering brief information to creating professional presentations for debriefing our marketing actions.
  • Social media support: Working closely with our Community Manager, Birta, you will establish routines to fuel our local store pages. This includes adapting visuals, rewriting messages for local impact, and potentially creating original content for Instagram and TikTok.
  • Event management: You will provide operational support for major national events (e.g., Sportfest, major marathons, and sporting festivals), helping with planning and on-site follow-up.
  • Team synergy: You ensure that all marketing information is clear, harmonized, and accessible to the entire team, helping us move from “siloed” info to a unified strategy.

Profil

Your profile

  • Currently pursuing or finishing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • This is ideally your second internship, with a first experience in marketing already under your belt.
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for design/content creation. A “Social Media Native” mindset (comfortable with platforms and trends).
  • Highly organized: you enjoy creating order out of chaos and making information “plug-and-play.”
  • Fluent in English and French. German is a very strong asset for coordinating with our Swiss-German colleagues.
  • A passionate sportsperson who is proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Step 2: Interviews. A meeting with Louise, Talent Acquisition Manager + Thomas, Communication and marketing leader + the team to discuss your background and creative appetite.
  • Step 3: Language. A brief validation of your writing skills and language proficiency.
  • Step 4: Internal Reference Check. (For internal candidates/Decathlon employees only) A quick touchpoint with your current Leader.
