We are looking for a motivated, inquisitive, and forward-thinking intern who is eager to learn, challenge the status quo, and contribute to both core business activities and evolving digital initiatives.
You’ll get to:
- Collaborate with Business Managers on projects related to Global Market products such as Structured Products, EQ, FI, FX.
- Identify, explore and drive AI automation of repetitive tasks
- Conduct controlling and supervisory tasks
- Analyze and support implementation of new financial regulations impacting Global Market products
- Clarify legal, compliance questions related to Global Markets financial products
- Support the daily business, conduct controlling and supervisory tasks
- ad-hoc projects to increase efficiency for regular analysis, reporting processes and controls
Your team
You’ll be working in the IB Global Markets Distribution Regulatory & Risk Management team within the Investment Bank in Opfikon, near Zurich. We coordinate, steer and support key business activities across Global Markets Distribution, with a strong focus on regulatory, risk and product governance. Our role sits at the intersection of business, control functions and change initiatives, partnering closely with Technology, Operations, Legal and Compliance. Based in Opfikon and collaborating with colleagues across London, Poland, Hong Kong and the US our team brings together diverse backgrounds and perspectives. This diversity helps us to bring different disciplines together to produce tangible results and transform our business.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- has previous internship experience, preferably in financial services
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
- demonstrates affinity for AI, automation and data analytics

Your program
This paid internship will last 6-12 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
