Media Design Intern

Ava is a hardware enabled digital health startup with the aim to revolutionize women’s health. The company has its headquarters in Zurich/Switzerland with offices in San Francisco and Belgrade. We are empowering couples who are trying to get pregnant by giving them all the insights and data they need to maximize their chances to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy. To support Ava’s mission and ever growing digital marketing needs, we are looking for a Media Design Intern to be a part of Ava’s in-house design team.

We are looking for a versatile designer with a passion for motion graphics, animation and imagery.  In this role you will be responsible for producing an array of digital assets for Ava’s global marketing efforts including videos, animations and still imagery used in social media channels, our website and blog.  You’ll work along-side a team of passionate designers, marketers and scientists dedicated to inspiring change and bringing new and much needed technology to women’s health.

These will be your tasks:

• Pre- and Postproduction of high-quality, multi-lingual videos for digital channels
• Participate in brainstorm sessions and concept campaign ideas for different markets 
• Research, edit and prepare images on a weekly basis for our blog, Ava World
• Support and consult the marketing team in various creative projects

You’re offering these qualifications:

• Experience with media production, especially video, animation or film
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Understanding of social media marketing trends and best practices
• Efficiency, creativity and flexibilty in a fast-paced environment
• Curiosity for learning new skills and conquering challenges on-the-go
• Interest in Women’s Health topics, photography and videography
• Fluency in English, any additional language such as German, Spanish, French, Chinese or Japanese is a plus
