Your role

Are you good with numbers and excel? Can you present information in a clear and convincing manner? Do you pay attention to detail? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • be involved in the fundraising and placement process of the best-in-class Private Equity and Private Debt managers
  • assist the Private Markets Distribution team on advising UBS largest and most sophisticated Wealth Management clients on building diversified private market portfolios
  • analyse and prepare client portfolio reviews and model portfolio simulations for our clients as well as address their questions and concerns about historical programs
  • gather feedback and insights from relationship managers and clients to aid the development of new private markets products
  • prepare high quality internal marketing materials by outlining main selling points and key parameters of the products as well as assist the team on all relevant aspects of the daily operations

Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

Your team

Be part of one of the leading Wealth Management Private Equity advisors in the world with a strong pipeline of global private markets products - single manager feeders and multi-manager products. We advise our largest family offices, Ultra High Net Worth and High Net Worth clients on building great private market portfolios within one or more of the PM segments (Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate). We partner with our client advisors to promote Private Markets as an asset class and assist them in pitching our product offering to their clients. We advise our clients on portfolio construction and recommended additions to their portfolios. You’ll be working in the Private Market Specialist team in Zurich.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree. In particular, you have:

  • strong interest in private markets and alternative investments in general
  • exceptional analytical and organization skills
  • highly driven, motivated and proactive personality with eagerness to learn and develop
  • a good command of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint in particular
  • stress resistant, deadline oriented and precise style of working
  • fluency in English. German would be beneficial

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
