Your role

Do you enjoy working in a challenging environment of a big organization with various stakeholders?
Are you a multitasker and know how to juggle multiple projects effectively?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • execute events across a number of WM themes including thought-leadership, culture and sport
  • incorporate innovative elements into existing content themes and platforms
  • research and develop new content platforms and components
  • source, design, develop and produce event & conference collaterals and materials
  • manage reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • generate topic content and ideas
  • manage speakers and logistics
  • contribute to event and venue research

Internship
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the UHNW Event & Client Experience Delivery team in Zurich. We are a dynamic and international unit responsible for WM client events on a global scale.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • a structured work style, confident working autonomously
  • the ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • a good command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and are a fast learner
  • fluent in English and German

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.

Start date: ASAP/ December 2018
