Intern Network and Model building

You should have the following skills/experience:

• Currently pursuing a master degree in biology, biotechnology or related field
• Previous knowledge/experience in cell signaling
• Fluent in both written and spoken English

You will join and work in close collaboration with our cell signaling team at Philip Morris International in Neuchatel to support the building of causal biological network models that can be used to analyze and interpret high throughput biological data.

As an intern, we count on you to achieve these following tasks:

• Design network models in the context of various fields of biology (e.g. vascular biology, inflammation)
• Identify scientific literature suitable for model building
• Curate selected scientific articles in Biological Expression Language
• Compile curated knowledge into network presentation of biology
• Interpret high throughput data using the biological network models
