About the role
You will be responsible for supporting the Transfer Pricing team in its core activities of analysing and defending all related party transactions within the Group. You will report into the Head of Transfer Pricing in Zurich and collaborate closely with the team based in Bratislava and Zurich as well as with the Group's local tax teams which are based in multiple jurisdictions.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
• Gaining a deep understanding of the re/insurance industry and the commercial drivers for our business
• Advising colleagues in finance, risk, underwriting and treasury on intra-group transactions including intra-group reinsurance, financing, brand licensing and other services
• Using your analytical and communication skills to evaluate and present results of transfer pricing policies to stakeholders
• Defending local transfer pricing results through tailored documentation and presentations to tax authorities

About the team
The mandate of the Transfer Pricing team is to assess and defend all intra-Group transactions, such as intra-Group reinsurance (to pool risk), financial transactions (e.g. loans and guarantees), license fees for intangibles, and support services. This gives us a truly unique perspective on the commercial drivers of the business, and a deep understanding of our global footprint.

We provide advice and documentation for the Group, and we sit in two locations: Bratislava and Zurich. Our team is a part of the Group Tax team, and works closely with colleagues in treasury, risk, underwriting, client management, operations and finance.

About You
• You have successfully completed university degree, preferably in economics, finance, or other equivalent business-related field
• Strong interest in/passion to learn about insurance/reinsurance
• You have confirmed analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture
• Approaches problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, is a fast learner
• Creative, showing a high degree of own initiative
• You are a team-player, willing to contribute actively to the overall team spirit
• Ability and enthusiasm to work in a global and multicultural environment, and to be mobile in terms of workplace or location
• Aptitude to express him-/herself effectively in one-on-one conversations and small groups
• Mature & self-confident; You are at ease interacting with colleagues and clients across hierarchical levels and geographies

• Excellent oral and written English skills
