Your role

Do you want to design, build and maintain our global core DevSecOps infrastructure using MicroFocus ChangeMan ZMF but also the latest cloud available technologies like Gitlab, IBM Dependency Based Build and Urban CodeDeploy? Are you confident at iteratively refining developers requirements and removing any ambiguity? Are you motivated to work in a complex, divers and global environment?

Your team

Infrastructure Core is a global organization within Group Technology Infrastructure & Security Engineering providing technology platforms to underpin our partners business applications. You will be part of the Innovation and Middleware Services team, which has a global footprint and works with clients and wider team members spread across the world. Together we drive consistency across business divisions and globally optimize operations and support costs, by providing timely, robust, cost effective solutions and change and deployment infrastructure products to our clients.

You’ll be working in Zurich, as part of the Technology division in Switzerland. As an Tech Engineer, you’ll play an important role in the DevSecOps stack software running on mainframe and cloud, joining a well-established team who will provide invaluable guidance into our high sophisticated infrastructure architecture as you grow your knowledge and career. Your expertise

• strong analytical skills and attention to details
• experience with software development processes
• knowledge of the z/OS operating system (TSO, ISPF, JCL, REXX scripting, Changeman ZMF, VSAM) or willingness to learn it
• adequate Linux, XML, and SQL knowledge
• know-how in GitLab, testing utilities and processes
• experience in Groovy / JAVA programming and knowledge of IBM DBB- / UCD tools is a plus
• communication skills: ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• curious, collaborative, and used to working independently
• English language skills, both in speaking and writing
