Your tasks

• You help as part of our cloud platform team to bring our Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) offering to the next level.
• You deliver as a cloud engineer high-quality solutions from inception to production, focusing on reliability, automation, maintainability, and security on Kubernetes.
• You continuously learn, prototype, and assess innovative technologies to improve our AKS.
• You ensure reliable and efficient operational processes to keep our AKS ready to host business-critical applications. This includes onboarding of new applications to Kubernetes and helping corresponding project- and application teams to implement and operate their applications efficiently and with highly automated processes for deployment, change- and lifecycle management and monitoring.
• You coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners, e.g., PwC global cloud teams, PwC CH application, & project teams, external vendors & suppliers.
• You are involved in the incident, change & problem management process (ITIL) and you ensure that technical documentation is available and drive operational continuous improvements.

Your profile

• You have experience with one or more cloud infrastructure, preferable Azure.
• You have first hands-on experience and good knowledge on successfully implementing and operating container-based applications on Kubernetes.
• You have an agile mindset; you are an advocate for DevOps methodology and have worked with DevOps toolchain. This includes infrastructure as code, artefact management, vulnerability management and CI/CD pipelines.
• You like to work in a team with a culture that is highly collaborative, open, innovative, caring, and free.
• You are a technology and open-source enthusiast and are enjoying to continuously explore and learn new cloud native solutions.
• You are fluent (written and spoken) in English, German is a plus, and have a “can do” attitude and like working on multiple tasks in parallel.
